VSD III – Volunteering & Sustainable Development III
offered a space for 20 international volunteers to create personal development programs and activities for children from small rural communities in Maramures County. The purpose of the project was to underline the importance of multiculturality, solidarity, and inclusion in the development of sustainable communities. Through volunteering and non-formal education, VSD III contributed to building an inclusive and sustainable Europe and helped local communities to discover how volunteering and civic involvement can help the growth of cohesion and solidarity in the target community. The project included two series of camps, that each lasted 8 weeks, during the period December 2021 to January 2022 and March 2022 to May 2022
