BCV- Building Communities through Volunteering

This project aimed to promote volunteering and non-formal education in several villages from Maramures county, Northern Romania and it included 6 international volunteers. The volunteering stage gave the volunteers the opportunity to gain new skills and confidence in organizing educational activities while using English as a communication language. By living in a multicultural environment they had the chance to discover not only the Romanian culture but also the cultures of their international colleagues involved in the volunteering activities. The project took place between 2018- 2019.
